In summer 2021, the Division 1 Board of Directors approved a new name, image, and likeness (NIL) policy, allowing NCAA student-athletes to be compensated for the NIL. This has already made a huge impact on recruiting. Student-athletes can now position themselves to make as much money as possible off their likeness and some coaches around the country think this will have a negative impact on recruiting.

Morgan St vs Delaware St. Thursday night Football
Morgan State has finally gotten into the win column. Their Defense keep them in the game. Morgan state QB made continuous turnovers that almost cost them the game. Congratulations to Morgan state, for winning at home. Final Score Morgan State 20, Delaware State 14. Team Stats: Total Yards. Delaware State University 313 yards, Morgan state 383. Turnovers almost cost Morgan State the game. Delaware State O, and Morgan State 2, possession Delaware State 29:42, and Morgan State 25:57. 1st downs Delaware State 18, and Morgan State 15.

Jackson State football team decimated Alabama A & M football team this past Saturday. This was Alabama A & M Homecoming, which did not turn out really well.
The end result of the game Jackson State University 61 and Alabama A & M 15. The game was pretty much a blowout from the beginning. JSU scored 20 points in the first half. 2nd half JSU scored 13 more points. The points keep coming, and Alabama A & M could not stop Jackson State University's offense. This game was payback from the spring game where Alabama A & M beat JSU.

Howard earns their second game win of the 2021 season, beating Morgan State University,27-0. Friday game was the first shutout from Howard since 2006. This game was special, it was played on Friday night, and was a national-televised game on ESPNU.
This game had a lot of errors from penalties, blocked kicks, dropped passes. Howard Defense did not give up and stayed the course. The Entire Howard Defense should be the Game Leaders of the game. The Howard Defense made a big difference in the shutout stopping Morgan State running to 41 yards to Howard 155, and Morgan State passing yards 122 yds to Howard 492 passing yards. Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL)
One of the most significant changes in the 115-year history of the NCAA, Name, Image, and Likeness, was presented to the world on 30th June 2021. The NIL was set out with a claim that NCAA will no longer support the restriction of student athletes’ and that it will use their names, images, and likenesses to create a better, more improved economy of brand marketing that would encourage a class of entrepreneurs.
